INGREDIENTS:
GARNISH
VANILLA SIMPLE SYRUP
Add (2) cups sugar, (1) cup water, and (1) whole vanilla bean split and scraped out seeds to a small sauce pan
Heat over stove and stir until all sugar and water is blended. Do not boil as this can cause sugar crystals to form.
Transfer to container and store in fridge. It’s your choice to take out the vanilla bean or keep it with the syrup. Personally, we keep it with the syrup.
COCKTAIL
Combine Esprit de Krewe Cane Vodka, grapefruit juice, St. Germain Elderflower liqueur, and vanilla simple syrup in a shaker cup with ice.
Shake 5-7 times. Strain into cocktail glass filled with ice
Top with sparkling water and garnish with smacked rosemary sprig and grapefruit wedge.
